A word from the artist…

“My use of ‘glow in the dark’ paint is a recent addition to my palette. I love the idea of creating an image that uses both traditional and cutting edge pigments. 

This new pigment suits both my aesthetic and theoretical ambitions - by almost perfectly making the 'invisible, visible'. I also love the idea that each painting has two lives: one during the day and one at night.

The light emitting pigment works by 'charging' it with a light source (ideally an electric light). It can be charged an unlimited amount of times.”
