John Brenton

Often to be found battling the elements en plein air whether it be on a Cornish cliff edge or in a tranquil Cotswold river valley his paintings possess a vibrancy and energy that can transport you to those evocative locations. Predominantly working in oils, John employs a technique that uses both palette knife and brush resulting in a richly textured, vibrant style that he has become renowned for.
