John and Dawn met when studying for their degrees at Wolverhampton Polytechnic in the mid-eighties. John graduated with a BA in 3D Design and Dawn with a BA in Fine Art. They have collaborated and worked together for most of the time since.

John’s work features rich colours supplied by using exotic woods, amber, precious and semi-precious metals and stones. In contrast to John’s more abstract work, Dawn draws on her Fine Art background and uses strong imagery in her jewellery.
