Sue Lawson is a contemporary landscape painter, based in the North Yorkshire Dales. Shortlisted for the Whitworth Young Contemporaries as a fine art student in Manchester, Sue experimented with conceptual art before returning to full time painting upon her return to North Yorkshire. Significant solo exhibitions including 'On the Horizon, Out of Reach' at The Bowes Museum, 'If I have left, I Remain in the Country' at The National Trust's Nunnington Hall and 'Maybe You Have Been Here' at Brantwood, the home of John Ruskin in Coniston, The Lake District.
