Deborah Grice | Winter Headline Collection | 23 November - 23 February
Deborah’s latest collection of work draws on the philosophy and aesthetics of the nineteenth century romantic landscape painters. By appropriating their visual tropes, she lures the viewer into a sense of familiarity. Initially her work seems gentle, unchallenging and set in an ambiguous time and place. However, in sharp contrast she adds the somewhat jarring and incongruous use of graphical, futuristic forms that provoke the viewer.
