Originally from Huyton in Liverpool, Sue Asbury now works from her home studio near Macclesfield. She studied graphic design at Stockport College and spent 15 years working as a designer in London, before returning back north. Over the last four years, she has made the transition into fine art, while retaining a design sensibility that is evident in her graphic compositions. her practice spans a range of abstract, still life and landscape work, accompanied by daily pencil sketching. Alongside writer and poet Nick Asbury, Sue is one half of creative partnership Asbury & Asbury.
