Rhonda Smith
Rhonda Smith was born in Glasgow in 1969 and studied for a BA Hones in Fine Art (Drawing & Painting) at Glasgow School of Art.
Rhonda has always been interested in the way people behave at the seaside. Whether it be children paddling, a holidaymaker resting on a deckchair or a dog walker gazing out to sea, lost in their thoughts, there is both a timeless element and a sense of nostalgia which she finds fascinating, and a little melancholic. Rhonda's images can evoke memories of fifty years ago, or maybe even yesterday.
