Part of the New Light Prize Exhibition 2020

Born in the North of England, Paul is inspired by the wild Northern Landscapes and the intimacy of interiors and still life. He chooses to paint in a wide variety of mediums from watercolour, oils, acrylic to egg tempera. In each painting he strives to evoke memories, capturing the atmosphere created by the fall of light and displaying a moment suspended in time.

He has exhibited in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Norway, and has been awarded various accolades such as the John Laing, The Silver Longboat, a major prize sponsored by Shell UK and the Artist Magazine Prize Winner of Patchings.
