Lucy Burley
Lucy Burley's creations are both decorative and functional: simple shapes which make sculptural groups. Inspired by Giorgio Morandi’s still-life paintings Lucy aims for her work to have the same harmony of form and colour.
Vessels are thrown on the wheel using white earthenware clay with a self-developed semi-matt earthenware glaze, to which Lucy adds oxides and stains to obtain a wide spectrum of colours.
