Originally from Canterbury, Julie North is a relief printmaker based near York, producing linocut prints inspired by nature.

Often using her own photography taken in her garden or the surrounding countryside, Julie translates the image into a pencil-drawn composition and transfers this to Japanese vinyl to produce reduction linocuts.
