Hidden Harmonies - Pamela and Erlend Tait
Pamela and Erlend Tait met at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, and now reside on the Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands.
While Pamela’s muse has long been in the trees, during lockdown she embarked on two projects which required her to create artwork in response to words and music, which subsequently changed her source of inspiration for this exhibition.
Erlend’s practice is informed by his early experience in stained glass design and restoration, but incorporates drawing, painting, stained glass, and in recent years 3 dimensions, moving image, and sound.
The title of the show - Hidden Harmonies - refers to strange coincidences experienced; to synchronicity and serendipity; to the hidden harmonies in our surroundings; and to time spent alone. There are more secret, hidden harmonies still to be revealed…
