Emma Westmacott

Emma Westmacott

Emma Westmacott is a ceramicist who's work focuses on mid 20th century design aesthetics.  After growing up in the 1970-80s and being surrounded by modernist architecture her work plays with the nostalgia of the aesthetic principles which remind her of her childhood.
Her design ethos is inspired and led by the concrete formwork of ‘béton brut’ often seen in Brutalist Architecture.
